I want to grow stuff

I wish I had the space for a vegie garden! My alternative is to build massive wooden boxes to sit in the backyard but I reckon that could end up being expensive. Also having a backyard which is north facing with a corrugated iron fence isn't probably that ideal.

Maybe I could do someting like this as a project for my annual leave in July.

You could try big polystyrene containers. Probably a bit cheaper than wooden boxes.

And isn't north facing supposed to be good for veges (more sun)? The corrugated iron fence is probably not so good.

Oh yeah - get it ready for the spring - sensational!

You could always do what I do and grow your own beer. It doesn't need any sun :)

Kid's clamshell wading pool / sand pit is excellent - provides two big, wide containers. Find them on hard rubbish day.
