So my back seems to be holding up OK to the two rides I have done which is a great thing.
I have had to make a couple of interesting calls at work the past few weeks and it has been noticed by my boss and also by my future boss...well my future boss would notice as it was against him BUT it is actually a good thing and not a bad thing and I was praised by my boss for raising the issue. It doesn't matter who it is, I am going to do my job regardless. This week I have also been through the process of being audited for the first time for SOX compliancy - SOX is the New York Stock Exchange. Thankfully I have an answer for each 'question' and considering that this if my first audit I am really happy that what I am doing matches the audit controls put in place :D At first though it was still kinda scary, just like when you go through a booze bus when you haven't even been drinking, you kinda panick and wonder 'what if'...
Now that I am able to actually ride my bike outdoors, my fitness, body shape and mental well being should improve massively and I am really looking forward to it :D Well after this LONG weekend I am.
I am still considering taking some time off while Le Tour is on. Either the whole 3 weeks or just the last 2 weeks... I am still yet to decide but I really should decide soon.
